The SS-150 is a compact, high-performance collar type Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machine engineered to deliver enhanced productivity, superior pouch aesthetics, and consistent sealing quality for modern, high-demand markets. Designed as a significant advancement over chute-type systems, the integrated collar forming assembly ensures improved pouch shaping accuracy, smoother laminate flow, and premium seal finishes for centre sealed pouches in various sizes. The VFFS Model: SS-150 (Infeed Belt Conveyor variant) is recommended for packing hardware components and irregular products into heat sealable laminated film pouches. It is operated by two gearbox-coupled motors driving separate mechanical assemblies for pouch forming and filling, with pneumatic systems handling sealing operations; all functions are synchronously controlled by a PLC to ensure precise coordination, optimal performance, and reliable operation. Pneumatically actuated top and bottom sealers are integrated with batch-cutting system for either single pouches or perforated chain of pouches. Laminate feeding is achieved through pneumatically pressurised rubber rollers, providing smooth and consistent laminate flow.
The filling system comprises of a 3-metre belt/slat conveyor with partitioned sections/buckets that carry the required quantity of the product into the infeed funnel and then discharged directly into the formed pouch by gravity through the collar pipe.
The electrical panel is designed incorporating components from Schneider, Omron, L&T, Selec, Unison and Connectwell. It features a user-friendly interface for ease of operation and an improved customer experience. All product contact parts are made from Stainless Steel (SS-304).
