The Auger Screw Filler is specifically designed for precise manual filling of powder-based products into bottles, jars, and pouches. The Manual Auger Screw Filler is a compact and economical filling solution designed for filling powders, such as flour, spices, chemical, nutraceutical & pharmaceutical powders, and similar materials, into pre-formed pouches, bottles, jars, or tins.
The filling system comprises of an auger screw mechanism that rotates within the product hopper to measure and convey the product downward, dispensing a precise and consistent quantity through controlled revolutions of the helical screw. The auger conveys material from the hopper and discharges it through a funnel outlet, positioned above the container for each filling operation.
The filler is equipped with either a servo motor or induction motor-driven system, controlled via a PLC in combination with either a servo drive, or a clutch-brake mechanism, for accurate speed-based control and start-stop dosing. Additionally, the hopper is fitted with an agitator (stirrer) powered by a dedicated motor-gearbox assembly, which continuously conditions the product to prevent compaction, or solidification, thereby maintaining uniform bulk density and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted feeding into the auger screw mechanism. Operation can be performed manually using a foot pedal or push-button switch, providing flexibility and ease of use for batch or small-scale production. All product contact parts are made from Stainless Steel (SS-304).
