The SS-175 is a specially engineered inclined (slanted) collar type Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machine, developed by Sunny Solly Machines to address the unique challenges of packaging heavy and impact-sensitive products. Its angled configuration allows hardware components and dense materials to descend at a controlled, reduced velocity during the filling process, significantly minimizing pouch damage, seal stress, and product impact. Equipped with a precision collar forming assembly, the SS-175 delivers superior pouch formation, enhanced structural integrity, and premium packaging finish across centre sealed pouches of various sizes. The VFFS Model: SS-175 (Infeed Belt Conveyor variant) is recommended for packing hardware components and irregular products into heat sealable laminated film pouches. It is operated by two gearbox-coupled motors driving separate mechanical assemblies for pouch forming and filling, with pneumatic systems handling sealing operations; all functions are synchronously controlled by a PLC to ensure precise coordination, optimal performance, and reliable operation. Pneumatically actuated top and bottom sealers are integrated with batch-cutting system for either single pouches or perforated chain of pouches. Laminate feeding is achieved through pneumatically pressurised rubber rollers, providing smooth and consistent laminate flow.

The filling system comprises of a 3-metre belt/slat conveyor with partitioned sections/buckets that carry the required quantity of the product into the infeed funnel and then discharged directly into the formed pouch by gravity through the collar pipe. The pouch former and sealing assemblies are inclined at a 40° angle to enable a controlled and gradual dosing of components into the pouch, thereby reducing free-fall height, minimizing impact forces, and preventing potential pouch damage during filling.

The electrical panel is designed incorporating components from Schneider, Omron, L&T, Selec, Unison and Connectwell. It features a user-friendly interface for ease of operation and an improved customer experience. All product contact parts are made from Stainless Steel (SS-304).
