The Liquid Mixer is designed for efficient mixing, blending, and stirring of liquids, solutions, slurries, syrups, emulsions, chemicals, and low-medium viscosity fluid products used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food and allied industries. The mixer consists of a cylindrical mixing drum mounted on four sturdy legs fitted with wheels, allowing easy movement and positioning within the production area.
The drum is top-loaded through an open mouth, facilitating easy charging of liquid ingredients. A removable lid is provided to allow the vessel to be closed during mixing operations. The lid incorporates a precision-machined groove, enabling the mixing shaft to pass through while keeping the drum covered, thereby preventing splashing, spillage or contamination during operation while maintaining operator safety.
The drum is equipped with a central bottom outlet, through which the mixed liquid is discharged into a connected pipeline extending to the front of the machine. The discharge flow is controlled by a manually operated valve, ensuring smooth, controlled and hygienic emptying of the contents.
Mixing is achieved through a vertical hollow-shaft motor assembly mounted on a dedicated mixer stand. The stand is constructed with two support legs and a central structural spine, which holds a mounting plate for the hollow shaft motor. During operation, the mixing drum is positioned between the stand legs, after which the mounting plate is lowered, allowing the rotating shaft to descend directly into the drum.
The mixing shaft is fitted with rotating fan-type impeller blades, designed to generate effective circulation, stirring, and homogenization of the liquid without causing excessive turbulence or air entrapment. The shaft assembly is precisely aligned to ensure vibration-free operation and the blade design ensures thorough blending without dead zones and is suitable for a wide range of viscosities.
For applications involving heating or temperature-controlled processing, the drum can be optionally manufactured with a double-jacketed construction, enabling indirect heating of the contents using suitable heating media such as water or oil.
