Description
Designed to deliver precise particle separation with consistent screening accuracy, the Reciprocating Sifter is a robust and efficient grading solution for powders, granules, crushed materials, and processed agro products. Engineered with a reciprocating motion mechanism, this machine generates controlled back-and-forth movement to facilitate effective material stratification and uniform passage through calibrated mesh screens. The oscillatory action enhances separation efficiency while minimizing clogging, ensuring reliable performance even with fine or irregular particle sizes. Suitable for applications involving supari (betel nut), granules, powders, dry agro products, and similar materials, the Reciprocating Sifter enables accurate grading, removal of oversize particles, and improved product consistency prior to blending or packaging. Built with a sturdy frame structure and easily replaceable sieve decks, it offers stable operation, low maintenance requirements, and scalable capacity options making it an essential component in industrial processing lines focused on quality control and standardized output.
The Reciprocating Sifter is engineered for efficient separation, grading, and removal of dust, fines, or unwanted components from free-flowing products. The machine operates on a to-and-fro (reciprocating) motion, achieved through a V-belt driven motor assembly mounted beneath the sieve tray.
The sifter consists of a tilted sieve tray, positioned at an optimized incline to promote controlled material flow across the screening surface. Raw material is fed through a feed hopper located at one end of the machine, from where it is uniformly distributed onto the rear section of the sieve.
As the sieve oscillates, material moves progressively forward. Usable, correctly sized product passes through the sieve openings and is collected through the designated outlet, while oversized particles, impurities, or waste material are discharged through a separate outlet. This dual-outlet arrangement ensures clean and effective segregation.
The sieving surface, machine frame, hopper, and discharge structures are manufactured in Mild Steel (MS) as standard, with the option to fabricate these components in Stainless Steel (SS-304) if required to ensure hygiene, corrosion resistance, and long service life.
The inclined reciprocating sifter is ideal for continuous operation, easy maintenance, and consistent separation performance in food processing, agro, nutraceutical, and allied industries.
