The SS-250 is a high-capacity, heavy-duty collar type Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machine, engineered as an advanced upgrade to the SS-150 for manufacturers requiring greater filling volumes and enhanced structural strength. Designed for precision centre seal pouch packaging, this model integrates a robust collar forming assembly to ensure superior pouch formation, improved laminate handling, and consistently high packaging quality across larger pouch formats. Compatible with Volumetric Cup, Screw Auger, Infeed Conveyor and Weigher filling systems, the SS-250 delivers exceptional versatility for granules, powders, and hardware products in medium to large production environments. Featuring a rubber belt pulling system, heavy-duty pneumatically controlled vertical and horizontal sealing jaws, PID-regulated heating elements, precision colour mark sensing, and PLC-based touch screen controls, the SS-250 offers stable high-speed performance with maximum sealing integrity. Built on a rigid enclosed heavy-duty frame, this machine is the ideal solution for industrial-scale operations seeking powerful automation, durability, and premium packaging output.
The VFFS Model: SS-250 (Weigher variant) is recommended for packing xxxx gm of xxxxx into heat sealable laminated film pouches. It is operated using a single gearbox-coupled motor driving a separate mechanical assembly for pouch forming, with pneumatic systems handling sealing operations; all functions are synchronously controlled by a PLC to ensure precise coordination, optimal performance, and reliable operation. Pneumatically actuated top and bottom sealers are integrated with batch-cutting system for either single pouches or perforated chain of pouches. Laminate feeding is achieved through pneumatically pressurised rubber belts, providing smooth and consistent laminate flow.
The filling system comprises a 10/14-head Multihead Weigher (Make: Gantan), which accurately measures and discharges the required quantity of product directly into the formed pouch by gravity. The weigher configuration, including the product buckets, vibratory feeders, infeed arrangement, and timing hopper assemblies, can be customized based on the physical characteristics, flow properties, and handling requirements of the product to ensure consistent feeding accuracy and optimal weighing performance. The weigher is mounted on a robust platform fabricated in Mild Steel (MS) or Stainless Steel (SS-304) as per customer requirement, complete with an access staircase and operator walkway on all four sides for convenient inspection, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the weigher assembly. The platform structure is designed to provide stability, safe operator access, and ease of integration with the packaging machine and upstream feeding systems.
The electrical panel is designed incorporating components from Schneider, Omron, L&T, Selec, Unison and Connectwell. It features a user-friendly interface for ease of operation and an improved customer experience. All product contact parts are made from Stainless Steel (SS-304).
