The Sifter cum Blower Machine is engineered for simultaneous cleaning, grading, and separation of free-flowing products by combining mechanical sieving with high-velocity air separation. The machine is particularly recommended for applications involving betel nut (supari), tamarind (imli), pulses, grains, seeds, and similar products where dust, light impurities, and foreign matter must be removed efficiently.
The machine operates on a to-and-fro (reciprocating) motion, achieved through a V-belt driven motor assembly mounted beneath the inclined sieve tray. The tilted sieve is positioned at an optimized angle to ensure controlled material flow across the screening surface.
Raw material is fed through a top-mounted hopper, from where it is evenly distributed onto the rear section of the sieve. As the sieve oscillates, material progresses forward along the screening surface.
Simultaneously, a high-pressure air stream generated by a blower mounted on the machine base creates a controlled air column across the sieving zone. This air stream effectively lifts and carries away dust, dirt, husk, and other lightweight foreign materials, separating them from the usable product during the sieving process.
Cleaned and correctly sized product passes through the sieve openings from where it is discharged through the product outlet. Dust, fines, and lightweight impurities are blown away by the air stream and separated from the product flow. Oversized or rejected material is discharged through a separate outlet. This combined mechanical and pneumatic separation system ensures superior cleaning efficiency and improved final product quality.
The machine is manufactured with a robust Mild Steel (MS) structure as standard, with the option to provide Stainless Steel (SS-304) construction for product-contact parts or the complete machine where hygiene and corrosion resistance are critical.
